Google was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University in California. It has since grown into one of the largest technology companies in the world, offering a wide range of products and services used by billions of people globally. Google's headquarters, known as the Googleplex, is located in Mountain View, California, USA.
